We live in a world of smart electronic and that is not going to change, which has given rise to something called manmade catastrophe, AI. AI is not something which is inevitable, it is already real and here to stay. Future optimist and religious population always considered AI to be an irrational concept, how can us puny humans create the greatest gifts of lord, life and conscience.

Pessimist point of view also did not help since it did not take much from them to announce the end of the world. Now when we are getting ever closer to the pure AI, a program of pure curiosity, life and unrivalled conscience, many have started to get nervous. The movies and books pointing out AI to be the biggest foe of humanity, suddenly seem real.

It is okay to be afraid of AI, after all it is unknown but is it the antagonist in the story of human species?

An incident from year 2017 can give a good point to start, at a Facebook research facility two AI bots after a little bit of English conversation started talking to each other in self-made new language. This forced the researcher to shut down the program and force them to converse only in English next time onwards. Scary? Yes, it sure is.

Make me want to go back to the period with so much less complexity

Incidents like these are frightening when we know upcoming future will have self-driving cars all over the world talking to each other so that we humans can reach our destination peacefully and on time. I can here also quote many famous business man and world leaders who has already announced AI to be the end of the world but I will refrain from quoting them as most of us are already well aware. I agree with them but they do need to provide further explanation.

Yes, AI will be the end of the world but not like shown in human extinction movies, but end of the world as we know it or has ever known. Most of the work which right now employs our human population can easily be done by self-aware robots hence we are looking at the biggest unemployment crisis in human history, though still several decades away. What we can take from this prediction is, universal income will be the norm of AI world and creative jobs might not pay as much as they do now since people doing it will be way more. We are at the dusk of a world which could have never been imagined by any of our ancestors and also at the dawn of an another unpredictable world with the hope of it being a beautiful one. Lets make sure this twilight is something to come back to.
